Last year, our family decided to become a foster family through Adoption Connection, PA. We were nervous and excited to start the process. We were quickly put at ease once we spoke to the Adoption Connection staff and started taking the classes. We felt very comfortable with the entire experience. The classes were very informative and helped us in learning about foster care. The handouts were a tremendous help in gaining knowledge and having a reference for the future. We began the Family Profile process. There is a lot of paperwork but it’s not difficult, it just takes time. The staff explains to you everything you need to have completed. They worked hard on matching a child with our family. Everyone at Adoption Connection was always friendly, supportive and responded within a reasonable time. We are currently adopting and the wonderful staff has always been there for advice, support and guidance. They are understanding and honest. Foster care and Adoption can be stressful at times, but it is worth every minute and the Adoption Connection, PA staff continues to help guide us along the way. We are glad we chose Adoption Connection to be our agency! We are very grateful to be adding a fifth child to our family.

We feel very blessed to have been part of Adoption Connection twice. This time Karen helped us get our paperwork in place! Robin Thompson was our matching specialist and she went WAY out of her way to be sure that she was understanding what we needed–she was so patient, even when we kept changing our minds! Later Stephanie Urben worked with us and she was such a help–when we had no idea what was going on! These people really care about the children and the parents! They get so excited when the match is right–I know that they pray for the right match!
