Adoption Connection, PA offers internships for students within the human service fields of study. These include but are not limited to social work, criminal justice, psychology and sociology.
Our interns have the opportunity to shadow caseworkers, oversee family visits, supervise child visits, observe court hearings, gain familiarity with paperwork, processes and regulations put forth by the Department of Human Services.
They also receive experience within a professional workplace where teamwork and communication is extremely important. They are required to maintain a schedule, be on time for appointments and conduct themselves in a professional manner.
