Valerie Buckland

Valerie is a recent transplant to Pennsylvania, previously working as a North Carolina public school teacher in grades 3-8. She now resides in Beaver County with her husband, two daughters, and huge Great Pyrenees dog. Valerie has worked tirelessly with children and families for the last 15 years, and was a Guardian ad Litem for the North Carolina Courts system. She hold a Bachelor’s degree in Educational and Literary Studies from East Carolina University, where she graduated with honors. Valerie strives to build authentic connections and “be a light” in her work with children. She loves to paint, write, embroider, research, and explore the outdoors in her downtime.
